I didn’t know boot camp entailed a well-tanned, spiked haired individual wearing camo cutoffs and Nike shocks while telling you to do mountain climbers, but I guess it is and that’s what’s hot. Attending group classes and or boot camps could be a waste of time if that’s all you are doing for fitness. If you intend on spending money on one of these latest trends called “boot camps” you should think again. This is just another way to spend a wasted dollar on another scheme produced by the fitness industry; you might want to think about spending money on a personal trainer first. These group sessions don’t incorporate enough resistance exercises and the focus is on the group, not the individual. If you are seeking to join one of these boot camps then you have a common issue that many of us suffer from; lacking the ability to push yourself to a higher level of physicality than the ordinary person. You need to be able to achieve true muscle failure and boot camps will tempt you to cheat the work, and you will. So don’t waste another dollar on a momentary trend and get yourself a personal trainer.
